How do i keep aol from popping up. every application i am in aol just pops up. how do i make it stop??

Turn ON your browser's popup blocker. Since u havent mentioned which browser you use, this is what i can help up to.How do i keep aol from popping up. every application i am in aol just pops up. how do i make it stop??
you can disable that by removing it in your startup items and it will not pop up anymore unless you reconfigure it again..





here are the steps:


%26gt;click on start


%26gt;run


%26gt;type in ';msconfig'; ---an new window will appear


%26gt;click the startup tab which is the last tab


%26gt;then uncheck the aol there.. you can spot aol under startupitems or command where aol is located.


%26gt;click apply then close


%26gt;restart your computer


%26gt;when booted to desktop, uncheck the dont show this msg again.... if you see a pop up window...





aol will not pop up anymore bec its not active in the background..





if your not using aol, you can uninstall it under add and remove prog in control panel.. but if your using it, dont uninstall it.
