Should I make a follow up call on my application?

I applied for a job at Old Navy.


I know three people that work there that said they'd put in a good word for me, how are my chances of getting at least an interview?





Anyways - I had to apply online because I went in and they had no paper applications.


At the end it said they would contact me in 3-5 days if they were interested.


That being said, should I make a follow up call? Even at the end of 5 days?


It has been three days.


I don't want to bug them..
