Im going into a store to pick up and application but i want to make a good first impression on them....?

so i want to wear somthing that will sorta match the job. its a small (not franchise) boutique near my house that is veryvery small. im guesssing that whoever is working will be the owner or somone close to it, so i want to make a good impression, even though im just asking if they are hiring...

anyways, i want to look good when i go in to talk to them about the application. heres what im thinking:

1) Dark nice jeans with a ivory tank and brown delicate sweater, gold jewlry, gold beaded wedges and my hair would be down with loose curls

2) Black dress that is knee length with gold jewlry and gold beaded wedges and my hair would be the same

only answer if you really will help me with this!!

f you're just going to ask for an application, keep it simple. The big thing is gonna be your attitude. So I wouldn't do a dress...dark jeans and a simple, pretty top generally put off a good vibe. Just make sure you're not overdoing it with the jewelry or makeup - simplicity will make you easier to look at. (Sounds odd, but it's true.) Makeup needs to be simple, too.

As far as attitude goes, be polite. Smile, but be real about it - fake smiles are worse than no smiles. If there's someone coming through the door ahead of you or behind you - make sure you hold it for them. This offers a potential employer a huge impact you could have with the business. And being unnecessarily polite to strangers leaves a good impression.

Best of luck in getting the position.Im going into a store to pick up and application but i want to make a good first impression on them....?
I'd go with the first outfit. The knee length black dress can look a little too contrived while the jean outfit can look like you're just someone who likes to look put together. Good luck!
