I am terrible at make-up application. Is there any websites that give in-depth instructions on how to apply i?

I have a fair complexion and I always end up looking like a clown. The best color for me to wear is pink but I have no idea if I have pink, gold, or whatever color undertones. How do you tell?? I burn if I'm exposed to sun, but I also get pretty dark if I tan gradually. There is a little American Indian in my background. Most people say I have a porcelain complexion. What would be the best colors for eye shadow or eyeliner. I always feel like I look like a vampire.I am terrible at make-up application. youtube is the best way to go. but you can also go to macys or sephora or mac and have them do your makeup so you know what works. then you can buy or make note of the colors they use. im latina but i also burn if i stay in the sun too long, but gradually, i might pick up a golden look. but i do have some color naturally. and as far as looking like a vamp, try brown eye liner instead of black. go on youtube and search eyeshadow tutorials or makeup tutorials or anything along those lines.

It sounds as if you might be Summer....because you are so fair and wear pink well, You can get with someone else and look at your hands and arms and tell if you have 'blue' undertones or 'golden' undertones. They will need to not be really fair in order for you to do this test. But I am considered ';Spring'; and I have the golden undertones, whereas my friend has the ';blue'; undertones'; and she is considered ';Winter'; because of her skin and her hair coloring. ARE YOU BLONDE? If you are, then, you definitely are ';Summer';....


Some people that read this will not understand this reasoning, but I hope you do.



I love giving make-up advice and I even give my friends make overs! I would say that the best colors for eyeshadow would be yellows, pastel pinks, golds and even some peach colors. For eyeliner, try using browns for a more natural look. Use a pencil first and then you can line it with liquid. You can also use eyeshadow as eyeliner. If you were to apply a pastel pink for shadow then use a purple on the rim of your eye as eyeliner. I hope this helps you!
